  1. For Minor Applicants (below 18 years old)
  2. Validity of Passport to be issued to a minor child will be 5 years.
  3. A minor applicant must be accompanied by either parent during the time of application.

Please Note:

  • Application fee for renewal of Passport is payable in cash or cash only. The Passport renewal fee is similar to the fee charged at the Embassy of The Philippine for the renewal of Philippine Passports.
  • Applicants shall be charged a convenience fee of QR 91 per application in addition to the other fees and must be paid in CASH only. The applicable fee in QR is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice due to sudden foreign exchange fluctuations.
  • All fees are non-refundable.

Document Requirements

Personal appearance of the minor applicant at the Application Centre is a must. Minor must be accompanied by either parent.

  • Duly accomplished Passport Application Form,
  • Most recent original Passport
  • 1 (one) photocopy of current Passport data page and Qatar visa
  • Copy of Report of Birth issued by the Embassy of the Philippine ( if born in Qatar) or copy of Philippine Statistics Authority [formerly National Statistics Authority - NSO], ) issued birth certificate (if born in the Philippines);
  • Copy of Qatar ID (QID) or passport of the accompanying mother.
  • If accompanied by the father, copy of parent's marriage certificate from the PSA/NSO as additional requirement to establish paternity.
  • Photocopy of passport of both

Additional requirements may be requested by the Embassy in compliance with relevant/prevailing rules and regulations as prescribed by the competent authority.

Photo Specifications

Passport photograph will be captured at the Passport Renewal Centre.

Important Reminders:

Eyeglasses, contact lenses, jewellery (earring, necklace), heavy make-up should be removed before photo capturing. It is also advisable for applicants having sore eyes, eye sty or any redness in the eyes to come for e-passport renewal when their eye condition improves

Processing Time

The new passport may be released within 30-45 days(average) from the date of submission of application.
