Only a Filipino citizen is eligible to acquire a Philippine passport.
Applicants may renew their Philippine e-passport at the PaRC, preferably with prior appointment, from Sundays – Thursday ,08:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs by simply bringing the complete set of requirements for the renewal of passport.
*First time passport applicants and those applying for replacement of lost or with mutilated passports, and those requiring any change in biographical data(due to marriage, date of birth, place of birth and sex), must make their application at the Philippine Embassy in Doha.

In accordance with Department Order No. 010-2017 or the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 10928 (2017), the Philippine passport has a ten-year validity period, for those issued to Filipinos 18 years or older. Passport of Filipinos under 18 years will have five years validity.
All passports applied for renewal at the BLS Passport Renewal Centre can only be collected/released at the Passport Renewal Centre.

No. The Philippine passport has a standard booklet containing forty-four (44) pages. Should the passport run out of pages, you may opt to renew your passport.
You should bring your original receipt and the old passport. This will be cancelled (by punching holes on the cover) by PaRC and return to the holder.
Yes. An authorization letter must be provided in favor of the spouse, sibling, parent (if applicant is of legal age) along with the original receipt and old passport.
If the authorized representative collecting the passport is not among the relatives specified above, a Special Power of Attorney mentioning the same is also required.
Pursuant to Department Order No. 37-03, all passports unclaimed by applicants after six (6) months from the date of issuance shall be cancelled.

Yes, provided that you have not yet used your married name in any previous Philippine passport. However, you may be required to submit a Marriage Certificate if you are updating your marital status from "single" to "married".

The application form may be corrected based on your documents if reported to PaRC within the day of your application. Otherwise passport will be printed with mistake(s). Applicant must apply for a new passport with correct info/details.

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure. We suggest that you renew your passport 10 months before the date of expiration.
